FUNDRAISING UPDATE
Since the last newsletter was released in January, an incredible amount of fundraising has occurred. Thanks to generous contributions of donors and sponsors, Walking With Our Sisters (WWOS) is on schedule to achieve the fundraising requirements!
Our thank-you list is extensive. The Grande Prairie and Peace Region WWOS Core Planning Committee would like to thank those who have con-tributed their time and funds towards WWOS. mirandalaroche@gpfriendship.com. Charitable donation receipts are available. Cheques for monetary donations can be made out to the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, re: Walking With Our Sisters.
 
In addition to funds, there is also a call out for Silent Auction Donations. The Walking With Our Sisters Planning Committee is currently planning upcom-ing fundraising events. Silent auction donations can be dropped of at Grande Prairie Friendship Centre 10507 98 Avenue, between the hours of 10am and 4pm, Mon-Fri.
Suggested Silent Auction Items include (but are not limited to): Indigenous artwork, trips/travel vouchers, signed jerseys, sports game tickets and event tickets, and gift baskets.
