Peace River October 4, 2017

Peace River Aboriginal Interagency Committee - Gather at 4:30 pm at Peace River Museum and depart for Riverfront Park at 5:00 pm. Vigil, Families Testimony and fellowship.

Fort Vermillion October 4 ,2017

 March to Legion Hall, opening prayer and remarks, story sharing, walk with Native Drum, candlelight vigil and closing prayers at St. Mary’s Elementary School on October 4th at 4:00 pm.

Grande Prairie October 4 ,2017

Starts at 3 pm-College front steps
Mayor Bill Given will be reading the Proclamation followed by speeches from the Elder in Residence: Loretta Parenteau-English, Grande Prairie Friendship Centre Executive Director: Miranda Laroche

Walk to the Friendship Centre at 3:30-4 pm for a Candlelit Vigil and Supper.

Posters and pictures of loved ones are encouraged.
You will have a chance to share to share your story at the Vigil.

High Level Friendship Centre is hosting the High Level Sister in Spirit Walk.

High Prairie Friendship Centre is hosting the High Prairie Sister in Spirit Walk. 

Gather at the High Prairie Friendship Centre at 7:00 pm the torchlight, candlelit walk will begin and end there. There will also be a balloon release. Stew and bannock will be served. All are welcome! If  you would like to add pictures to the slideshow please contact the 780-523-4511

Slave Lake October 4, 2017

Slave Lake Friendship Centre is hosting the Slave Lake Sisters in Spirit Walk

Gather at the Slave Lake Friendship Centre at 4:00 pm and begin walk, the walk will end at the Slave Lake Friendship Centre. Testimony and fellowship will follow walk. All are welcome! For more information call 780-849-3039
